Though my road to Southernite was anything but linear, I do trace my love for design and beauty clear back to when I was a little girl. Later in life, after receiving a degree in Business Administration and Marketing, I cultivated a career in finance, sales, and consulting. This foundation was invaluable to my current role as a business owner and leader.
The switch to full-time home decor and design was a 15-year journey where I would curate items from all over the country during my corporate travels. I would sell the unique items I found and was always on the search for more. I’ve always studied the environment around me, and quickly developed an eye for creating vignettes and beautiful spaces. I began pouring over design books, constantly seeing the world around me in refreshed ways. With time, God opened the door for me to move into interior design full-time - and I’ve never looked back!

Personally, Southernite is synonymous with my beautiful wife, our Christian values, and our young son - they all own my heart! Outside of Southernite, baseball is my passion. Forever Braves and Baylor fan, I enjoy the outdoors, movies, dogs, and reading/writing.

I'm an independent consultant and have partnered with Southernite for 5 years! I help with all things "people" from sourcing talent, hiring, training and ongoing support as our team grows and excels at providing the best customer service! I am a very happily married mom of two amazing young adults and one adorable little frenchie!
Amanda Turano
I'm the Warehouse Lead here at Southernite, making sure our inventory is organized and in perfect condition for our awesome clients. When I'm not working, you can usually find me fishing, playing a game of cornhole with friends, or relaxing at the beach.
Owen Moss
I do the "behind the scenes" work here at Southernite. My husband and I have four married daughters and two grandsons, who we love to see throughout the week. We love to hike, travel, cook, and explore breweries. I love my morning quiet time sitting on my back porch with a cup of coffee and with our God.
